Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between talent management and information technology through psychological empowerment in physical education teachers in Kazerun city. This study is applied and descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of this study was all physical education teachers in Kazerun city, 97 people, of whom 83 participated in the study. The data collection tools were the standard talent management questionnaires of Ahmadi et al. (2012), psychological empowerment (Spritzer, 1995) and information technology (Lortz et al., 2004). Descriptive statistics methods were used to describe the data, and Pearson correlation coefficient, regression and structural equations statistical methods were used to analyze the data inferentially. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between talent management and information technology with a correlation coefficient of 0.66 and between talent management and psychological empowerment with a correlation coefficient of 0.51, and also between psychological empowerment and information technology with a correlation coefficient of 0.33. Finally, the results showed that the relationship between talent management and information technology through psychological empowerment was positive and significant at approximately 0.21 (P ≤ 0.01).
